History

Since first exploding on the local music scene in Mankato, MN in 1997, 69 Cents' signature high-energy live rock shows quickly became a top-draw "Party Band" tradition at hundreds of venues and festivals throughout Southern Minnesota, Wisconsin & Iowa.

69 Cents was voted "Favorite Local Band" in the 2007 Mankato Free Press Readers' Choice awards, and was featured in a full-page article in May/June 2007 issue of Guitar-Edge Magazine

69 Cents continues to be a top-draw local dance-floor-filling favorite, playing hundreds of classic to current party and dance-rock cover tunes, and has been billed in regional shows with Styx, REO Speedwagon, CCR, Starship, Kansas, Britney Fox, & The Bullet Boys.
