History
BOLO was formed in January of 2011. BOLO originated from the remains of a prior rock group The Great Shark Hunt. From the outset of that transition, the three initial members of BOLO finished writing their debut album. Towards the end of the recording process it became evident that there was need for an additional guitar player. Thus ushering in Nick Malbraaten on guitar. Not long afterwards BOLO released their first album Depopulous, which was engineered and produced by Jeff Halland. After roughly a year with the group, Nick left the fold. After some non-rigorous searching for a replacement on guitar, James Nelson joined the ranks.
