Brute Heart are an art-rock trio from Minneapolis. Prominent sonic elements include pizzacatoed viola and ethereal multi-part vocals.

History
Brute Heart formed in 2007. The group self-released its debut LP, Brass Beads, in 2009. Their second album, Lonely Hunter, was released on CD, LP, and cassette by local label Soft Abuse in 2011.
