CLAPS is a minimal electronic band from the Twin Cities. They are known for making use of backing tracks in live performance as little as possible.

History

Band members Jed Smentek and Patrick Donohoe met through their respective siblings: Smentek's brother and Donohoe's sister are married. The two later met third member Sara Abdelaal while attending the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
