History
Inspired by a university brochure instructing college girls how to politely preserve their honor, the women of Coach Said Not To came together in 2001. They have since released two EPs - their self titled debut and "The P.E. E.P." - and in April of 2006, their debut full-length "Mini Series".
Annika Johnson (drums), Linnea Mohn (bass), Eva Mohn (guitar) and Lee Violet (keys) blend their different backgrounds and personas to form tight harmonies, quirky lyrics, and create an ironic stance that is defiant without being petulant.
Coach Said Not To is based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
