Dead Man Winter is the solo project of Dave Simonett from Trampled by Turtles.

History
After several years playing acoustic music with Trampled by Turtles, Simonett began to miss electric instrumentation, which moved him to write and record a solo album primarily on electric guitar. The album, Bright Lights, was recorded with producer/guitarist Erik Koskinen and a number of other collaborators, and released under the name Dead Man Winter.
