The Fargo Band Family Tree is a wiki intended to be a mostly non-biased, factual historical reference to the Fargo/Moorhead indie music scene and its six degrees of separation with other closely related scenes, which include Minneapolis, Mankato, Grand Forks, Bismarck, etc. A number of players listed in the Fargo Band Family Tree currently play in Twin Cities bands such as The Soviettes, Death to Our Enemies, Hypocritical Disclaimer, Anchorhead, So Fox, Capital!Capital etc. The Fargo Band Family Tree appeared on the web as a Wiki in July of 2005, though in its most rudimentary form, the FBFT dates back to 2000.
