Gay Beast[[1]] was formed in the early spring of 2005 by Danimal and LDTT. They placed an online want ad for a third member and found Icky Rot. After self-releasing several EP's on cd-r format and touring the country, they self-released and toured behind their first album Disrobics in late Winter 2006. LA-based label DNT Records[[2]] re-released the album on vinyl in 2007, the band again hitting the road that August. A split 7" record with the Olympia-based band TWIN[[3]] followed shortly after, with Danimal touring as TWIN's third member in October. Their second album is slated to be released in Spring 2009 on CD and vinyl with Skin Graft Records[[4]].
