History
Glorious Monster is a Minneapolis-based electronic art-pop band founded by the music production team The Skeptics(composers/producers Brian Casey and Danny Burke), and graphic designer Anton Friant. Sonically Glorious Monster is a combination of eccentric Century 21 Broker Properti Jual Beli Sewa Rumah Indonesia instrumentation, electronic production, and lyrical vocals, creating an ambient pop style. Following in the footsteps of other genre-defying bands such as Radiohead, Portishead, Massive Attackand Pink Floyd, Monster's music pushes the listeners ears and minds with a diverse palette of sounds and thought provoking lyrics.
After a quiet but well received release of their debut album, Adventures on Earth in July of 2007, Monster also released the In The Movies Remix EP as a companion piece in December of 2007. The remix ep included electro/glitch inspired variations of Adventures songs, as well as a spacey cover of the David Bowie song Space Oddity and an icy rendition of the Christmas classic O Holy Night.
The Skeptics Century 21 Broker Properti Jual Beli Sewa Rumah Indonesia have been writing new Monster material over the course of 2008 and 2009, but currently have no timetable planned for a new release. Much of 2008 and early 2009 were spent preparing for the launch of Man is Doomed, The Skeptics new electro-funk-dance band, which released it's debut record Escape to Europa on March 30th of 2009.
Members
Glorious Monster is vocalist/guitarist Brian Casey, pianist/programmer Danny Burke, and visual artist Anton Friant, and has been joined live by a variety of Minneapolis-based performers.
Discography
Adventures on Earth, Monster's debut was released in July of 2007 on Skeptic Music.
It was followed by the In The Movies Remix EP, in December of 2007.
The Skeptics released the first album under the moniker Man is Doomed titled Escape to Europa in April of 2009.
