History

Haley Bonar grew up in South Dakota, and later moved to Duluth for college. She got her start as a live performer at a local open mic night called "Experimental Thursdays", where she would play songs on guitar and Farfisa organ. Alan Sparhawk attended one of these performances, and subsequently approached Bonar to open for his band Low on tour. He also released Bonar's second album on his Chairkicker's Union label.

Bonar has gone on to release several albums and EP, tours frequently, and is a mainstay in the Twin Cities music scene.
