Howler is an indie rock band from Minneapolis, fronted by Jordan Gatesmith.

History
The group formed in 2010 as one in a series of side project from what was then Gatesmith's main group, Total Babe.
In May 2011, the group scored a deal to have its debut EP released in the UK on the legendary Rough Trade label. The following month, Howler was listed as one of UK music magazine NME's "50 Best New Bands of 2011."
Howler placed fourth in the 2011 City Pages Picked to Click poll [1].
