Biography
James Everest was born and raised in St Paul, MN. Started playing guitar at age 14, with friend Bryan Olson, forming first of several bands together - The Risk, The Wild Eyed, The Sensational Joint Chiefs, Captain Blasted Blues Band, Fresh Squeez, Lateduster, & The Dijonettes. Graduated from University of MN with a degree in History. Curator of FREELOADED WEDNESDAYS improv series at The Front Bar 1996-1998 and CROSSFADED THURSDAYS live soundtracks series at The Dinkytowner Cafe 2001-2004. Nominated "Artist of The Year" at MN Music Awards in 1997. Current host and curator of "Making Music" conversations series at U of MN's Whole Music Club. Current music director for Catalyst Dance company. Guitar & Music teacher.
