Biography
James Monte is a multi-instrumentalist from Minneapolis, MN whose musical influence spans a magnitude of genres. From acoustic, folk and alternative to punk, hard rock, heavy metal and everything in between. James first got his start playing drums for Duluth punk band DaSonics in the mid to late 90's. After that he fronted a heavy metal band called Zephaniah from 1998 until 2001. After Zephaniah disbanded he played drums for a variety of different bands in the Duluth, MN and Minneapolis/St. Paul scenes including Dwelling, Longanimity, Flat Earth, D.I.M., and Eternal Voyager. James is also a member of Minneapolis based band Hemlock Heyday. In 2013 James started working on solo/acoustic music for the first time in nearly 10 years.
