KFAI
From Minnewiki
KFAI is a Minneapolis-based radio station operating on 90.3 Mhz in the Minneapolis area and 106.7 Mhz in the St Paul area.
Since 1978, KFAI has been a non-profit community radio station that attempts to represent as broad a racial, cultural and economic audience as possible. An average week on the station will see shows as diverse as "Khmers in Minnesota" to "Good and Country" to "The Scandinavian Cultural Hour". Combined with the block scheduling system the station employs, the unofficial slogan of KFAI has become "A different station every hour."
Owned by the non-profit Fresh Air, Inc. (hence the call number), KFAI has been cited by numerous publications and organizations in Minneapolis for their continued contribution to both Minneapolis music and information resources.
