Lane Pederson (aka Monkeyhustle) grew up in Worthington, Minnesota. While finishing a doctrate in psychology at the University of Minnesota he joined the band Dillinger Four. It has been said that Pederson won't eat a grilled cheese sandwich because it does not make sense.
