History
Little Man was founded by Chris Perricelli while he still resided in Chicago, which was also where he put out his first album in 2000. Shortly after that release Perricelli started touring with Ike Reilly, doing some performances but mostly helping out with the Reilly road crew. Perricelli fell in love with the energy of the Minnesota music scene and decided to move here to pursue his own music career.
Perricelli joined up with Twin Cities musicians Ben Foote and Ryan Otte to form the current Little Man lineup. The group put out a new album, "Big Rock," which has been well received by the local music scene. Their high energy combined with Perricelli's small stature have made them a unique local act and a growing favorite bar band.
Perhaps the most accurate description of Little Man so far is from Van Alstyne of the PULSE: "This is the kind of ballsy traditionalist bar-rock that's guaranteed to put a shit-eating grin on the faces of those music fans searching for short and sweet rock to accompany tipping back your brew of choice and forgetting about the work-a-day week."
Little Man can be seen frequently playing all the Little Venues of the cities, including the Hexagon Bar and the Turf Club.
