History

Latterell has been performing in the Twin Cities as a solo artist since 2008 when he released the EP, ‘The Sweetheart Boy of the Rainbow Café.’ In 2010 he released his first full-length CD, ‘Charades.’ In early 2011 Latterell posted a series of free singles to his website, mattlatterell.com. These singles now comprise half of his most recent album, 'Life On Land.' The CD release is to be celebrated at the Cedar Cultural Center on October 13th, 2011 with Zoo Animal and Villa.

While occasionally still performing solo shows, Matt can usually be seen performing with a band consisting of himself, Holly Newsom, Steve McPherson and Reed Pagel. The band appeared on The Current's Local Show on October 2, 2011.
