History

middlepicker was formed in 2002 by long-time rivals bill zastera and kyle kosieracki as a recording project. they soon realized the rock could no longer be cooped up in the basement apartment and formed middlepicker the band by enlisting jonathan hoglund on drums and kristin anderson on bass. after a falling out, the group reformed in 2003 with justin lawson now sitting behind the skins. the group recorded a full length "middlepicker brings the nasty" in 2004 at mike wisti's albatross studios. in the winter of 2005, middlepicker was signed by royalty, etc. records and soon after recorded an ep, "middlepicker walks the plank", again with wisti.
