Misplaced Music is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting local music of artistic merit through its internet radio station, online store, and live events. (taken from misplacedmusic.org)

Another, unrelated Misplaced Music is a record label founded in Duluth in 1998 and currently based in both Duluth and Leeds, UK. The label is dedicated to promoting local bands and as such has released singles and albums from several Duluth artists including Low, Charlie Parr and Fair-Weather Friend. Leeds artists are also represented and include Hood, Empress, Vibracathedral Orchestra and Time For Rodeo.
