Plasmatic Brain Spasm

Plasmatic Brain Spasm formed in late 2004 by Ryan Branstner (guitar, vocals), and Shawn Bachinski (bass), formerly of electro group Perfect Orange. They were later Joined by female vocalists Pepper, Kah, and drummer Aaron Bellamy (Tribe of Millions, Soul Reaction). They finished their self-titled debut in 2005 to good reviews, spending the next 2 years playing gigs, showcases, and art events. They were on Pioneer Press’s – Audiophiles Guide to the Twin Cities compilation in 2005, and the <Rift> magazine compilation in 2007. Receiving airplay on local programs, Off the Record (Radio K), Local Sound Department (KFAI), and The Local Show (89.3 the Current), and much support from Spacebar Radio (96.3 Eau Claire). They have just released their follow up release Future is Future in February of 2009, and are currently playing out in support of the new release.
