To add or edit pages in Minnewiki, you must register to participate.

Choose your username

When you create an account you can pick a public username. Use something simple and direct, and one that does not create confusion for other users or to impersonate someone else (i.e. Christopher Walken). When you're logged in this username will give you full credit for all your contributions. You can also view all your edits and contributions by clicking the "My contributions" link in the top right, which is only visible to you when you are logged in.

From there you're asked for a password, your email address, and your real name. Keep your password private, as you are responsible for any contributions made under your username.

Real name and email address

MPR asks for a working email address and your real name as part of the MPR Terms of Use for user submissions:

You are responsible for all of your submissions. You may not post any messages misrepresenting yourself as someone else, or by using a false e-mail address. In MPR and APM forums and content contributions, you must post under your own username, and are responsible for all posts from your account.

That information is private and will not be shared or sold. You do not need to publish or share your real name or email address with the public or on Minnewiki pages. See all the MPR Terms of Use.
