History

Initially formed in Des Moines, IA as The Crawdaddies with Ruekberg, Price, Anderson and Musser.

Moved to the Twin Cities in 1992. The band took the 1993 SWSX festival by storm. Signed to Geffen Records in 1994, at which point Musser left the group. Jon Duncan (Trailer Trash, 2 Tickets 2 Paradise, Picadors) began performing live with the band around this same time.

Recorded their debut in 1995 with producer Paul Fox in Los Angeles. Subsequently dropped by the label after a personnel shake-up at Geffen.

The unreleased recording was eventually released in 1996 on Chicago's Pravda Records. A second album recorded for Pachyderm Records remains unreleased.

There is an actual Mr. Rex Daisy who inspired the group's name.
