History
Tapes 'n Tapes is an indie-rock band that was formed at Carleton College in Northfield, MN in 2003. Their rise in popularity is attributed mostly to popular music blogs like Gorilla vs. Bear, Music For Robots, and most notably, Pitchfork Media. Tapes 'n Tapes eventually signed with XL Recordings in 2006.
The band appeared on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' on July 25th 2006.
