History
Teen Eagle was started in early 2006 during a Wolf Wolves practice. The duo of Adam and Doug started making dancing keyboard/guitar jams until they brought in Donny of recently broken up friends Our Midwestern Body. The now trio played their first show in Hutchinson, KS in July of 2006 as an extra band on a show on the Charles De Gaulle tour. Our Midwestern Body bassist Will Dixon joined that fall to round out the band. Dixon left after a few shows, including a particularly disastrous show at the Dinkytowner. The trio returned to practicing and booking shows, and in typical fashion, added bassist Sam Gerard 4 days before the next show they played at Memory Lanes. The EP "II" was recorded in the spring of 2007 with Ben Brockway. The band played some more shows and broke up in the summer of 2007 before what was to be their last show with Doug. A split CD with Hutchinson, KS band Low Oriole was planned for the future, but the status is unknown.
