History
The Dames started out as early as 1996, though changed quite a bit since the earliest incarnation. Once Mat Milinkovich got on drums however the band started to really take off. They toured around (even a bit out of state) and released a couple of recordings. Later Ian Prince would replace Mat and they'd accomplish even more, like playing with one of their musical idols The Melvins. However, by late 2004 they had slowed down, and as of January 20th, 2005 they have been on "hiatus."
