The Goondas are a rock band from Minneapolis. The group's primary songwriter is guitarist Jackson Atkins, with lyrics written by singer Brenden Green.

History

The members of the Goondas grew up together in Chanhassen, and first formed as a cover band in 2008.

The band has enjoyed a number of accolades from local press, including placing in the City Pages 2010 Picked to Click poll [1], and winning "Best Live Act" from the Star Tribune the same year (in a tie with Retribution Gospel Choir) [2].
