The Haves Have It were formed in the winter of 2005 by Portia Richardson and Jenn Gallup and released a debut 7-song EP produced and engineered by Dan Connor in January, 2006. Their first full length album, Friction, was released March 28th, 2008, with a CD Release Party at the Hexagon Bar in Minneapolis. The 11-song album was produced by Jacques Wait and the Haves Have It, engineered by Jacques Wait, and was recorded at the Devil's Workshop in Minneapolis in the Winter of 2007.
The Haves Have It are one of 6 bands selected to play the 2008 installment of the wildly successful Voltage: Fashion Amplified rock and fashion show at First Avenue.
