History

  • North Styrenn[1], the brainchild of Ryan Pula, was created in 2002 and immediately began arming the whipper-snappers of today with dozens of rock songs. Early on the band was plagued with member-shuffling, until late 2004 when bassist extraordinaire Chris Bierden joined the band.
  • With a final lineup and a hunger for performing live, North Styrenn took to the tundras of Minneapolis and Saint Paul with instruments in hand.

  • In September of 2005 the band recorded a 7 song EP titled,"The North Styrenn EP" at the Hideaway Studio in Minneapolis. Daryll Hurst, the recording engineer for the EP, was quoted saying,"I probably cried the first six times I heard the songs."
