History

Formed the in winter of 2000, the Soviettes are a 3/4-female pop punk band who heralded the resurgance of female-driven rock in the new millenium.

The band's first two full length records—LP I and LP II—were released on Adeline Records (owned by Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and wife Adrienne). LP III was the band's first release on Fat Wreck Chords, the label of NOFX and Dillinger Four. All three full-lengths were produced by Jacques Wait.

The band has toured extensively, most notably on the 2005 Vans Warp Tour.
