History

Askeleton was founded in 2000, by Knol Tate, during the break-up of his former bands Kill Sadie and The Hidden Chord. Knol used a free version of a digital audio program and wrote songs with samples, simple keyboard/guitar parts and lyrics left over from Hidden Chord. In 2000 and 2001 Askeleton made two records released in 2002 as the the full length album "Sad Album" and an EP called Modern Day Fairy Tails. To promote these releases Knol gathered members to form a live band. The band went through many variations until sticking as a full unit in 2003.

During 2004 Askeleton released a second full length album, "Angry Album -or- Psychic Songs." In 2005 they followed it up with the release of "(Happy) Album" which kept in theme with the previous CD titles of emotion.
