History

Cars & Trucks are a Twin Ports band that formed after The Dames disbanded. Dames singer Tony Bennett recruited a former drummer for The Dames, Mat Milinkovich, as well as Mat's frequent band mate Matt Osterlund on bass. Cars & Trucks is a decidedly more poppy and upbeat band than previous ventures by members. It evokes the spirit of older bands like The Beatles, The Kinks, The Monkees, or The Who. In 2007 they finally released their debut self titled album. During the fall of 2008 they announced they'd be re-entering the studio and recording another album that could be out early in 2009.
