History
Magic Castles are a psychedelic pop band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band started as an underground home-recording project by Minneapolis songwriter Jason Edmonds in 2005. A band started to coalesce around the early tapes in the summer of 2006, featuring some members of Jason's old minimalist/soundtrack band Nymore. Magic Castles' first show was for a birthday party on December 8th, 2006 in the Lyndale/Lake V.F.W. basement. Things continued to progress throughout 2007 and their first full length album "The Lore Of Mysticore" was released in June of 2008, featuring songs such as "Now I'm A Little Cloud," "Cave Troll Blues," "10,100" and "Imaginary Friends".
