History
The Ashtray Hearts is a Minneapolis band best known for their influence on apartment music, which is a term describing their bittersweet songs. They first formed as a three-piece in late 2000, but through two albums have grown to six members, broadening their music palette to include a variety of eccentric instruments (such as horns and accordions).
